There are many ways to end this kind of story, and I think that’s where the movie shines at its best. There wasn’t a big twist. No, it was something much more subtle, and made up of so much irony that you can’t even taste it anymore.
One more paper to go, and I’ll be freed; from studying, from exams, and into the unknown. Like an overgrown turtle, from a pet tank into the lake. Feeling emotional, and moody, and kinda whimsical (slightly more towards the capricious side), but that’s probably caused by a friend who is depressed. And then I began… Continue reading The Overgrown Turtle
It’s a throwback; an especially tear-jerking one. I watched this scene a number of times during AH’s hiatus and still I can cry over it. But now, the updates! I know it’s late; the updates have to come the day before my final thesis submission deadline, which is unavoidable when the number 413 is heavily… Continue reading “[S] Terezi: Remem8er.”
Intended translation from the two Chinese letters: 拜年 Pronounced as: Bài Nián Obviously (or not) it’s an almost direct translation from Google Translate mainly because I’m the one pulling the strings between Google’s output and the WordPress Input. It’s a tribute to my favourite (and only one that I like) Chinese New Year Festive Song of… Continue reading Pray Year
Speaking from where I live at (and my social circles), Smart Watch isn’t a trend. It’s more like a white noise going around and none of us actually pays attention to it. Even me, although it’s because I’m a supporter of the analogue watch. So when one of my friend brought along this box there asking for… Continue reading iradish Smart Watch and Phone: Features and Review
Okay, I might have exaggerated things a little, but the picture itself is true and real. Damned box is labelled Chinese characters, but it is the (nearly) literal translation of iradish, though calling it “digital carrot” would better hit the mark. By means of a friend, I’ve managed to acquire the little gadget in that aforementioned… Continue reading Preview for Something
